Nazanin Mirsadeghi

Nazanin Mirsadeghi is an Iranian-American writer and translator. She has published multiple children’s books in Persian (Farsi), several poetry translations in Persian and English, a poetry collection in English, and many Persian language grammar and workbooks for children and adults.
She is also the founder of Bahar Books, a small Persian press, that mostly publishes study materials for learners of the Persian language, poetry and fiction for the native speakers, and Persian children's books at different levels.
Nazanin lives in New York with her family and writes full-time. In her spare time she reads all kinds of books.
Some of her favorite writers and poets are: Raymond Carver, Anton Chekhav, Neil Gaiman, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Langston Hughes, Federico Garcia Lorca, Pablo Neruda, Naomi Shihab Nye, Omar Khayyam and Rumi.
